Ooooo thank you for that. I've just ordered some large ones for myself. It will save me using the caravan toilet when travelling :O)

I think there should be a post with an harness attached in all layby's for lorry drivers ... heh! heh! heh!

Well, my two are opposite ends of the spectrum.

I bought a bike springer (google it). One dog pulled like a husky and nearly had me under an artic and the other plonked down and refused to move..........

I guess they would be the same with this invention. LOL!

Lisa, I have just checked out that bike springer, I can't stop laughing thinking about being on a bike that is being dragged along behind my Greys in full flight, so funny.

Hi Karl

I actually think, if the dog is sound and if used correctly on ground that is not rock hard etc, etc, it's a useful aid to fitness.

However, my ***** Daisy is like a lion. She even managed to swing the damn thing round, and I was almost facing sideways on my bike. I took bike and springer to work and one of the chaps did some welding on the springer and assured me 100% no dog, no matter how powerful, would be able to move it again. Not true.

Diesel (Gaylord) well, he just plonked down and refused to move, much to my embarrassment. Mind you, it gave the people on the bus a laugh...... plus the local kids oh and a passing pensioner who actually got up the road 100% faster than we did.

At least I got back what I paid for it on fleabay.

I'd like to see your greyhounds go. Infact, I'd go so far as to say I'd pay good money for that. LOL!

I am not at all surprised that a Staffy would deform the springer if it so wished. Before we started rescuing Greyhounds, we rescued a couple of boxers, they can be wilful so and sos aswell.

Well done for taking the boxers on. I bet they were a challenge.

There's something fishy going on at the moment. I had a message through another channel so to speak from a person in Spain asking if they could use my dog at stud. Upon googling my dogs KC name, I find that there is a website which has listed hundreds of SBT's on there from all over the world. They've got all the health testing results for those checked (including mine), the dam and sire info, dob etc.

I'm wondering if they've lifted the info from the KC site or Animal Health Trust. However, saying that, there's some dogs which look like non pedigrees to me. We're just looking into this site.

Very strange.

OMG.

The thought of my two Springers wearing that contraption....Yuk.

Just imagine the mess as they run through the brambles , tearing the bag and spreading the contents everywhere.

Then poor old me will have to clean their ar$e$ , now I'm feeling sick.

Back to the good old poo bags.

Cheers

You would be surprised how much dog related information is stored online. Take a look at www.greyhound-data.org, go into dog search and put in ardcaien butch (my big lad) the detail is incredible, his entire pedigree, previous owners, photos of some of his ancestors and details of every race he has run in.
