If you don't have the good grace to say why something was deleted. You should seriously consider your position as a moderator.

I never mentioned anything which could be considered racist.

I really I think this is pathetic and PC correct gone to far.

Frank, the Moderators aren't on the forum 24/7. You will find that the joke was pulled due to complaints received (explained in the text, on the other thread) and as such was removed. If you think the moderation has gone too far, your wrong. In fact sometimes, considering this is a caravan forum, it doesn't go far enough. The mods do an exceptional job (unpaid) on this forum. If you think you can do better try being impartial on all threads, and see how much fun that is.

For anyone who has ever been moderated ...

Here is the acid test about thread/topic/post deletion. If someone else had posted a joke or whatever and it was removed, would you kick up and complain about its removal? If not, then you are probably taking it personally. It's a natural reaction.

We accept all people on this forum and the mods job is to ensure that the forum runs smoothly. Your racist jokes or attacks will not be tolerated and if they continue I will ask MOD1 to remove your account

That is pure SPIN I posted one Joke not Jokes and I have never carried out a Racist attack on anyone.

I am sorry you have had some problem when your joke was removed. It may or may not have crossed a line which others felt was racist or out of order for this forum.

I know you are not racist by nature as the thread regarding Migrant workers was nothing but supportive of the system and not a tirade against these people who have come here legally. I can only hope Steve will go and read that old thread and see what kind of person you are.

I cannot comment on the joke as I was away and I can only assume removed because of some complaints. If that is the case fine it was only one post among many you have posted which have been both polite and helpful. I just hope the Mods on here give the same polite and helpful responses when they have to remove a post. I do not like this forums basic operation as you cannot send personal mail to each other so the moderator can just politely let you know what is happening. This forum is a poor design and may actually add to problems between members due to lack of PM interaction so we cannot have a polite word or ask simple personal questions off thread.
