We would love to come but our caravan is on Redstone Caravan Park in Stourport as we are living in for the next 3 - 4 months. If you are erecting a marque or similar perhaps we could pop over and have a drink together. It is only a short taxi ride from where we are staying. Would this be acceptable?

As we have lived in Stourport for the past 10 years if there is anything you would like to know just hollow. We`also stayed on Lickhill Caravan Park from mid January 2006 until end of February when we moved to Redstone Caravan Park so I think we can offer advice on anything regarding that site and directions. On no account should you try and enter Lickhill road from the High Street, you will not make it around the corner with an outfit. Within walking distance is a pub called the Stagborough Arms. Theree are also a number of take away some good some not so good in Stourport.

Ian

Do try and come along it would be good to meet.

You got me a bit worried now. Don't like the sound of entering from the high street. Wherever I go I always get lost both with and without the caravan.

If I email the mod and ask mod to let you have my email address would you be able to give me accurate and idiot proof directions from Nottingham please?

Actually Ian, there's no need for me to mail the mod. Would you be able to post directions from Nottm (fool proof) here?

Thanks Steve I'll have a look when I'm back in work and print it off. (Printer broken at home).

It's not the sharp corners which do me, it's just I'm totally hopeless at directions. I hope it's an idiots guide/totally foolproof, if not, someone might have to give me their mobile number as I'm bound to get lost. Did I tell you about when I towed to Derbyshire last year? Ended up driving round Sainsburys car park twice with caravan on the back.

If you have a favourite wine or there is one you would like to try, bring those Mark. If a few bottles are the same as others it doesn't matter, it just means there are people with similar taste to you. Obviously there is no upper limit to the amount of bottles you can bring, but it's a good idea to leave space for the wife and kids (they can hold a few bottles as you travel) and don't forget the corkscrew, or we'll have to *** around to Lord B's estate and borrow some of his screw pegs....

If coming off the M5 at junction 6 Worcester take the A449 towards Kidderminster. Approximately several miles down the A449 take the A4025 towards Stourport on Severn. It is a small round about with the Mitre Oak pub on the left hand side. Proceed down this until you reach a small island and bear left. Between 4pm and 6pnm the traffic is generally very heavy and is very much a case of stop and go. Follow the road around and you will see the Steps pub in front of you, at the island you will have to bear left, the Total garage is on your left, after bearing left, keep to the right hand side as if you are going towards Kidderminster. This is Mitton Street and is basically a one way system. You go up a slight incline and there is an island at the top. At the island bear right into Vale Road. Move across to your left as soon as possible and at the traffic lights turn left towards Bewdley. Proceed down the Bewdley Road B4195 for about one and half miles and at the traffic light controlled intersection turn left into Lickhill Road. About half mile down the road turn right into Lickhill Caravan Park.
