If you read this Valery, could you give me more information. I can't find the E104 on my map. I have only travelled via Paris once and ended up on the Paris ring road ( parifique!!!!!)Sorry can't spell it, but I am sure you know what I mean. It was a nightmare!!! David

Hi David - if you're looking at a map, the E15 (or A1) is the autoroute which comes down towards Paris from Calais. At the Senlis junction we take the N330 towards and around Ermenonville - to the East of the autoroute. We then come back towards Paris on the N2, and just beyond Charles de Gaulle airport on the N2 take the junction with what (on our map) is listed as the E104, or A104 or the Francilienne. Follow this down, heading all the time for Marne la Vallee, then a sort of sharp turn and then another down towards Brie Comte Robert, and a series of junctions and bends until you end up at Evry, then down the E15, A6 for a bit until the junction for Nemours, then off on to the N7. It sounds much more complicated on the map, but actually isn't. Half way around it starts being signposted for Lyon and Bordeaux and you just follow those signs. There's only one place where you need to be in the correct lane - and I've marked it on another map. It's like a sort of glorified M25, without the traffic, and skirts you well away from Paris - nothing like the peripherique!! Hope this helps - get back if you need more information.

There was loads of traffic on it last November when I was on it, but its better than the Peripherique. Not that that's saying much!

David, you may feel more confident with a specific map (I do, anyway, although, as Val says, it isn't that difficult to navigate). If you stop in any service area on your way down, you will see maps of the Francilienne on offer. Michelin does one, but I thought the Blay Foldex one looked better, so that is what I have.

Bonne Route!

Thank you all for the information and comments. Very detailed Valery. The A104 is marked on my map, so now I know where I am. I have also printed off the map supplied by Parafke. Thank you Parafke. I will proberly stay on the N104 to the A10 as I will go down the A71 and A75. Again thank you. David

Hi Valery, have had a look at your route and I like the N330-N2 because it avoids the busy part of the A1 at the airport. Thanks.

David
