Fridge Problem

This may not be technical, but it does bug me.

When we go away from our van and leave it in storage we obviously do the rounds cleaning everything and draining things down.

The fridge we leave slightly open on the catch. However when we return we always have to clean it as there is a light dusting of mould in it.

How do we stop this happening?

We leave the 'fridge door WIDE open. Never bothered by mould.

Make sure you dry the interior of the fridge after washing down with either washing up liquid, or a weak bleach solution.

It is better to leave the door fully open to allow good air circulation.

Leaving on the catch does not allow such circulation
