Fridge removal - Difficult?

Is it difficult to remove a fridge? What about the gas connection? Reason is that the seal between the fridge and the caravan wall (top vent) is not seating properly, and I can see daylight when looking through the cutlery drawer above the fridge, giving a gale force draft with any breeze onto the fridge vents. Don't want to go back to dealer with all the hassle of getting the van out and city traffic both there and back.....unless it's a major diy job.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Paul, there is no need to remove the fridge.

Take the top outer vent cover off and you have access to the top of the fridge.

Use fire retardant foam cut in a strip wide enough to fill the gap plus 10cm and press it in along the top edge until level with the rear carcass of the fridge.

Ensure no foam is near the exhaust vent tube or burner tube.

Thanks, Damian. Tried it today, thought vent was sealed to van side previously, and worked a treat. Managed to push existing foam into place and covered with duct tape (opposite end to exhaust). So, job well done and thanks again for your help.Paul
