fridge ventilators (wind Niose)

Hi there

I have a 2007 Bailey Ranger 460/4. The two fridge Ex ventilators are giving trouble in high wind. By sliding the two black clips at the top of each vent you can pull forward the grill. Behind this there is a plastic fly grill this is the item which is knocking around in the wind. You do not notice it in the day but at night it keeps you awake. Has any body else had this problem and how did thay solve it please.

Kind regards best wishes Steve.

Exactly the same problem on my Abbey but it took me ages to track the noise down. I simply slid the catches back and put a small piece of Gaffer (duck) tape on each fly screen...Hey Presto quiet Nights! The duck tape also helped to keep the wife from snoring and talking in her sleep too!!

Hi Litespeed

It took me 6 months to track down the problem it sounded like a cat flap at night. You would not think a plastic grill could make so much niose. I will try the tape many thanks

Steve
