Looking at winter vents.

Confusing data from various sources so query,

1) Do they go on both vents.

2) Are they for storage only or for using fridge in winter and if so just electric or gas as well.

3) Anyone bought from Towsure, they show Electrolux at about £17 (Thetford fridge but they were same size) but not clear if this is for pair or just one. (local c/van dealer about £8 for one but too small, my vents about 450 x 180 from memory)

Either way expensive for 50p worth of plastic.

3) Reminds me, I find it extremely frustrating that retailers (not just c/van) sell an item but not associated options that go with it. eg recently bought 2-Lafuma RSX from dealer but they did not sell bags- now bought two from Towsure.

Hi Bill.

We have a set of thetford fridge winter vents. They are designed to be used in the cold weather to restrict the air flow to just enough to allow the fridge to operate without over heating.

Before we got them, we certainly had the B-b-baltic in the bathroom syndrome before fitting them. We suffered a draught that sliced you in half, that positioned it'self just where you would stand to make the early morning cuppa.

Ok
