Last night I downloaded and installed Stinger from McAfee nothing was found due possibly to running Malwarebytes premium on the main pc & the wife's laptop....

I would suggest reading this and downloading the appropriate tool for you antivirus system that your pc runs ;)

It did a very thorough job and took nearly six hours to complete the task you don't realize how much information is stored on your hard drive, well worth doing IMO ...

For anyone using a free anti-virus system there's always a chance of a virus getting past because these freebies are not always right up to date.
If you don't fancy buying a good anti-virus software you could always download Kaspersky 30 day free trial to guard your computer as this new virus is supposed to release.
The trial version is as good as the paid for version, Kaspersky can cause some slow start ups now and again as it updates automatically, but better that than a hard to get rid of computer virus which could at worst steal money and at least damage your computer.
