Last year when I had a mover installed on our van.

The engineer did a drop test & basically told me it would do but advised me to buy a 110amp due to the weight of the van & the very tight / time consuming moving to get it back into & out of it's parking spot on my drive

Any way I did that & saved the old one.

I have just taken the 110amp battery off its smart charger to put it back in the van & I weighed it, well its is a little bit larger but it fits in the tray ok.....

This weighs in at 23kg

The gel one weighed in at 30kg

Fancy that a 7kg difference

But why ???

The fact that it is a gel battery is not the only reason for the weight difference. Batteries are produced to different standards and the better ones have more lead plates in. Some have thicker plates, some thinner but more plates etc. Checking battery physical sizes will tell you that the same size of battery can have different capacities, so obviously the internals are different.
