Just got back from another great weekend away in Oxon Park, Shrewsbury.
One little issue this time, on setting up, plugged the water feed pipe in, dropped into the aqua roll, pump on and just a louder than normal noise and air/spitting at the taps.
Now, I’ve noticed the water pump has been getting noisy of late.
Nipped to Salop Leisure but they didn’t have one.
Spoke with a dealer off eBay who has been very helpful in the past and they had the Flojet in stock, paid for and on its way.
Didn’t stop us having a good break, the facilities are back open so all good.

I had a similar problem with my Flojet last summer. Got replacement pump from a specialist supplier at 50% the price of caravan outlets, and 36 hour delivery too.

TF Pumps (Derby) were the supplier on Ebay but direct sales too.

Although I couldn’t log into PC, it was your old thread that I read and gave me the answers I needed to the issue👍
Got a few weeks before we are away again so plenty of time for it to arrive and be fitted.
Found a white plastic screw cover in the rear wash room this morning so I need to find where that was from and get it replaced too.

Very easy to fit with its push fit joints. Mine was vertically mounted on a board which was then fixed to the caravan. When working it sounded like Phil Collins at his most manic. So I mounted Swift’s sounding board using some softish rubber grommets. It helped somewhat but the pipework which is quite stuff itself can carry the vibrations through its own fixings.

It’s the nighttime sojourns that were the most disturbing as my head was directly over it.

New pump arrived today, how good is that for service!
The new one didn’t have a plug fitted to it so snipped the one off the old pump and did a nice soldered joint with shrink wrap.
Plumbed in, plugged in and it’s really quiet and a lot stronger flow than the old one.
All good but I do wonder what people who aren’t handy or used to doing stuff like soldering cope. Get a service fitter out I suppose
All ready for our next weekend away in a few weeks, booked last night for a weekend in August then it’s caravan service time and two weeks away in Brockenhurst for September.

They could always do what I had in my ABI. Twist a few wires together and roughly wrap insulation tape around.
