Has anyone been to this park in Oxford? We are planning on going there fairly soon! Any comments, good or bad, appreciated.

Hi Paul we have not been to Hardwicke Park but we have driven past it lots of times. If first immpressions count then there is nothing we can see as we pass by,slowly and we always have a long look, which entices us to stay there, as some parks do. In fact it looks quite scruffy and run down, from the the road. I do hope i'm not doing the place an injustice. We always stay about 2 miles away at Lincoln Farm Park which is brilliant in every way.The surrounding area is great with lots of places to visit and things to do.There is a Caravan Club site about 10 miles away at Burford next door to the wildlife park.Hope this has been of some help if a little vague.Happy touring Peter W.

As Paul said the site is a little scruffy and run down. More interested in statics than tourers but the location could be wonderful. If you have children there are dangers with the lakes and streams around so keep a close eye on the children!

The site is fantastic great walks and the watersports are great our kids loved the ringo's... The club house is a bit snobby with the static community but it wasnt that bad.... Witney is a nice place to visit.

Hope that helps....

If you have kids it is great, However depending on thier age thay will need to be well supervised due to the ammount of water about. The clubhouse is ok for a walk in the evening but it is a mass of rotting wood. As someone else says "Lincoln Farm Park" is a nicer site but is usually full and more expensive.
