Hi Can't speak for Haven but, we went to see some friends who were staying on the Blue Dolphin site last year. It was scruffy, tired, 60's Butlins-style concrete and plywood with loud amusement arcades and warm beer. You couldn't pay me enough in gold dars to stay there.

Have driven past the Haven site a Primrose Valley and it looked altogether brighter but did not go in.

Hope the helps. Dave

Hi - we stayed at Primrose Valley in 2006. We stayed in a static as we had not got our tourer at this point. The facilities were typical of any Haven site. We like them and are willing to put up with no views etc. My son loves them and if you book early you get a cheap deal. The site was clean and we had no complaints. Didn't have a look at the touring section though.

We stayed at the Reighton Sands Haven site which is in that area. Never again - cramped pitches resembling a mud bath and unheated toilet blocks with concrete floors were just 2 from the (very)long list of reasons why.

Reviews don't sound too good for Blue Dolphin do they ? - if you like the area then Crows Nest about 1 mile down road from Blue Dolphin is fine with all amenities and swimming pool etc or if you just want high quality touring park with no frills then try Lebberston, again only a couple of miles away

Hi Emmy, We have stayed at Primrose Valley it is beautiful, small touring site but lovely all the same , The shower and toilet blocks are very well maintained, warm and very clean, There is a fantastic outdoor pool for the kids if the weather is ok, The arcades and bars are a fair walk across the park, but there is a restaurant and small bar near the touring pitches which we prefer. Also there is another site nearby called Flower of May which is lovely too and not so expensive.
