Hi all. I'm new to the forum so hello to everyone. We've just acquired a 1997 Bailey Pageant Champagne 4 berth single axle caravan. Our previous unit was a 1998 Fleetwood. The Fleetwood had a Heki 2 Rooflight near the front, however the Bailey only has 2 small factory standard roof lights, so there not as much light as the Fleetwood.
I don't know if this subject has been covered previously, so my apologies if it has. I would like to retro fit a Heki 2 Rooflight to the Bailey. I understand how to fit the Rooflight, however, my concern is that I don't know how my Baileys roof is constructed. I intend to place timber framing to strengthen the new Rooflight as the instructions say, but I'm not sure this will be sufficient if I cut through timber that is intended to strengthen the roof.
I've tried googling to see pictures of the roof structure, but cant seem to find any. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
