My name is Paul and I’m a nearly 50 y-o railway worker from the West Mids. I’m 100% new to the world of caravanning and kinda throwing myself in at the deep end with a baptism of fire as a cherry on top lol.
As me and my family have got some big birthdays coming up (me 50th, my Mrs 50th, daughters 18th and sons 16th) we’re planning a 3 week trip around Europe with a caravan in Aug ‘26. Owning a caravan is something that we’ve wanted to do for a while.
What’s my towing vehicle I hear you all ask ? It’s a 2010 VW T5.1 LWB that’s NOT camper converted, it’s a 9 seater shuttle so has factory fitted windows and seats & seatbelts with M1 on the V5c (70 mph on dual carriageways etc)
One slight problem……. we don’t actually have one yet 🙈
I won’t post any questions here as I know it’s not the right place, but I do have a few and I’m gonna need all the help that any of you are willing to offer.
