Hello and a query about fuses

Hello, a newbie here! Bought a 14 year old Autotrail Apache early this year and am getting used to it after a few teething problems! We took it to Ireland and drove far too many hours most days, but you live and learn! I am fairly well kitted out now, but want to buy a set of spare fuses, but am not sure how to find out what I need. Is it just a matter of looking in the fusebox and buying individual ones or can I get a kit? This is a bit outside my comfort zone - but then a lot of the things have been and I'm learning to cope with them gradually.

Hi Katie, welcome.
We've all overdone the driving a bit at some point. Remember you're on holiday, not trying to break endurance records! You'll find your own balance in time, between having a relaxing time and actually getting somewhere.
There my be "spare fuse packs" out there, but it's probably simpler just to look in the fuse box and buy what you need. A spare bulb pack is probably worth buying though, as going round checking what type each bulb is could take a while - especially at the back.

Thanks Tony. I will take a look at the fuses. Is there a bulb pack specific to each vehicle (mine's on a Fiat Ducato base), or would a general one do?

Yes, we just need to allow a little more time to cover the miles - that's true even in a car when you're in Ireland.

Bulb packs usually have a list on them of the vehicles they cover, you should find a suitable one at a car spares store like Halfords or similar.
