Hello and Goodbye!

Goodbye, Ouriversdirty, Farewell, Bonn voyage, laters, Si thee.

This is my last post. Although curiosity will make me return to see what's been said (if anything), for a short time, but that will soon diminish.

The reason for not posting again is we no longer have a caravan or motorhome . I don't wish to go into details why, suffice to say that maybe, in later years we will return to this way of taking our holidays.

All our planned visits and holidays have been cancelled.

It's a bit of a miserable moment leaving this forum. Over the years I have had a laugh, argued with many, helped and been helped and probably the most important of all, made some friends.

To all you old stager's, that have been on this forum for years, thanks. You make it worth coming back for more. I'm not going to mention anyone by name, in case I forget someone, you all know who you are.

To all you newer members, look past the bickering and visits by trolls, there are indeed some exceptional people on here, all of them willing to help or have a chat.

Keep up the forum meets, I would urge anyone to join in with these.

Time to move on, and not being good at this sort of stuff, I'll keep this short.

Lol - sorry to read your message. With a bit of luck it will only be a temporary break from the forum and caravanning/motor home way of life. May I take the oppertunity of saying that I have enjoyed, over the past years, the postings you have made to the forum whether they be of technical advice or assistance or a more light hearted input in this section of the forum. I would like to offer you and your wife and family all the best for the future and come back to us one day soon.

Why do you feel the need to leave just because you no longer have a caravan or motorhome? It is not a prerequisite in order to participate in this forum, only having an interest in the hobby is enough, and one can make many comments without necessarily even having that direct an involvement. We discuss many subjects some of which have absolutely no relevance to caravanning, so I would ask you to continue to throw your tuppence worth into the pond, if you feel you would like to.
