Just me and my better half theses days, kicked the kids out as soon as we could and we're spending their inheritence on travelling.

Welcome to the Practical Caravan forum Ze Gecko
I noticed your earlier post where you pulled Practical Caravan Magazine editor Nigel Donnelly up about his spelling

There's a spell checker available that you can use by disabling rich text to check spelling before you submit your comments, just in case you would like to find out how to spell 'inheritance'

Only kidding, people who live in glass houses and all that, but on this forum we tend not to mention spelling errors made by others because none of us is are perfect

My post was more to with the Editor embarrassingly getting a 'business partners' name wrong rather than the spelling

No worries Ze Gecko, I was only having a laugh so apologies for mentioning it, but such a 'confident' first post brought out the worst in me

In defence of Nigel and his team of hard-working Practical Caravan scribes, they don't go to work to enjoy themselves!
No! They turn up on a cold Monday morning and are ordered to take a caravan, get out there and, erm.... enjoy themselves!
Journalism must be like school days, no matter what you did back then you had to write an essay about it afterwards, and Nigel often uses an i-Phone to catch up on forum matters when he's busy which can play havoc with spelling and forum posts.

Please enjoy using the forum and I promise not to be so mean to you again

I would have thought that a dedicated caravan mag Editor and his journo's would have been caravan based all the time in pursuit of caravanning excellence and knowledge for the reader.
What's the point in having all the tech if you're popping in to the office all the time

A ready supply of test caravans and CL costs must be more cost affective than a Haymarket office suite.

I think that the Practical Caravan team share a broom cupboard with the motorhomers at Haymarket Towers when they report back for their next assignment and pick up their tea bag allowance.
This time of year is taken up with the various caravan shows and exhibitions which the Practical Caravan team attend, they were at the Manchester show recently.
The journo's definitely stay at the sites using the caravans because I've seen them at the various Readers Rallies, the next UK based one is at Stowford Farm Meadows in early May this year.
Before that the PCv team are at another Readers Rally in April, this time in Holland.
It must be a hard life...........
