Help in finding spare parts

Can anyone help with suggesting sources of parts? We have a Compass Kensington Encore and are looking for new ends for the channels which hold the blinds at the front (3 part window) of the van. We also need a new door "boot" as the old one looks as if mice have been at it! We've looked on the internet but don't seem to be able to find the right things.

Hi Jo
I'm not really sure what you mean by 'door boot', do you mean the rubber surround similar to This One ?
The blinds will be common to most UK caravans and could be either Hartal, Seitz or Remis. Had you thought about looking on E-bay or caravan breaker who will sell either complete blinds or perhaps parts of them via mail order?
Check what make your blinds are and measure the sizes before ordering.

Have a word with O'Leary Motorhomes. I have found them very good and their postage charges are reasonable.

If you mean the standard rubber on an outside locker then have a look on www.sealsdirect.co.uk . I replaced mine from there and the 3m length did the two.

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. OH has managed to fix the blind channel back in place by drilling an alternative hole for the screw to replace the one which was broken. The door seal is a bit mind boggling and I think that we would ahve to remove a pirece of the current seal to make sure that we get the right thing. OH is making noises about the amount of work involved - removing fly screen etc. etc., so I have a feeling that we may just live with the existing seal! However, should he decide that the work is worth doing, we now know where to look. Thank you very much all of you.
