Hi, we asume you mean the hendra in newquay as its the only one i know. We have been tot his site 3 times in the past but not in the last year, we have found the site to be one of the better run commerciall sites in cornwall and have always had a good time, having said this we have only ever been out of season so its been relatively quiet. when i say quiet i mean that theire was only about 150 vans on site plus the statics which number over a thousand. the site was always tidy and the toilet and shower block where always clean and had plenty of hot water for the showers, the children where very well catered for with play areas and clubs although i think its a bit cheeky to charge for them to watch a very old video, they also got a lot more than theire fair share of the nightly entertainment which did get a bit boring for the adults as it went on for so long, we also found that having been the year before the dj / entertainers did exactely the same things as the previous year we where able to predict every thing that was to come next, not very original at all, also the club room is not the big enough for the site and was absolutely chocker full even in low season, you need to get in early if you want a seat. the leisure pool is hendras pride and joy and is very good, it has 3 water slides plus a rapids pool and main pool although it is almost impossible to have a proper swim due to it being so shallow, the first two visits we had a great time with the kids in the pool but on our last visit we found that they had almost no rings left for the chutes and the que was huge as a result, hopefully they have purchased some more by now. the pitches are big enough for your van an awning and your car plus some room for a barbie or just to sit in the sun, we would not recomend the hard standings they are right at the bottom of the site and not worth the extra. hendra is situated about 2 miles from newquay center so its idealy placed for the town but far enough away to avoid the larger louts who ruin newquay at night, we refused to go in to newquay after 6 o'clock due to the problems and i'm led to believe its now even worse. with regards to hendra in high season my sister whent last august and found the site absolutely chocker full she was told by a cleaner that the owner had hired two more fields from a farmer and that they had over 8000 caravans and tents on site, she waited over 2 hours to get in the pool only to be told she had 30 minuites then had to leave and she was unable to get in the club house after 6 due to the number of people, lucky they had the shower in the van as the que was over an hour long for the site ones.

over all a good commercial site but has its problems.
