Hearld range was introduced by Compass in 97 and featured Clarion and budget Emblem ranges. Claremont Leisure used them as a dealer special. They offered good kit for the money and although they only produced them a few years they are a general good used buy.

Hope this helps

Hi Helen

We used to own a 2000 Herald Clermont SE 490/4L. Part exchanged it for a new van in January this year. It was a dealer special as other comments have referred to, ours was registered in Durham and we bought it as our first van in 2004. Lost count of how many great holidays we've had in it.

Massive end bathroom, great for kida, and side bunks. Good solid van, easy to tow with Vectra Diesel Estate.

Only really sold it as kids getting bigger!

Just out of interest, where are you thinking of buying yours from? It could be our part-exchange!

Thanks for your reply. We have just purchased our Herald from Salop Leisure in Shrewsbury and love it. Its a good quality caravan and we love the layout. Its our second van first was an old Abi Monza, a bit small but a great starter van, good quality too.
