Hi Paul,

Did my first winter break over last new year.

Advice? Make sure your gas bottles are full, keep the heating on, buy an awning heater, make sure you some place good to hang wet coats and clothes and buy an insulating blanket for your aquaroll.

I also saw some good advice on stopping your aquaroll from freezing. Use a fish tank heater. I suppose you could use a tyre heater similar to the ones that the F! teams use but that seems a bit extreme!

Also Propane is meant to better than Butane in low temperatures.

Apart from that take your Christmas decorations and lights and have a great time!

Hi Paul and Mel,

Just a couple of other things to be aware of:

If there is snow on the ground make sure you lift/raise your hook up lead before it gets frozen onto the ground.

If your waste pipes under the van have a 'u-bend' at all then make sure it is insulated. Years ago my shower wasn't and I ended up filling up the shower tray and having to defrost with a hairdryer.

Enjoy....you will love it !

Jim
