we moved out to france with our dog and traverling between uk and france its not easy.and finding places to stay with a young playfull dog .I brought a avodale 525 caravan last year and have a ford maveric the out fit seemst easy to use.A couple of nigling little issues the water contianers could do with out side storage lockers on the van, it would save having to put wet or dirty units in the car or van the other is the rear view I was thinking that a camera fixed to the back of the van then hopefully a wireless system to a screen on the front would this be practical or legal to have on instead of mirrows which are limited use when some people love to tail gate then over take in odd if not dangerous places .I enjoyed reading your site and find it friendy and usefull your doing great job .we are looking forward getting plenty of use out van and visit many new places and enjoy our found pastime .

Hi Alan, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum.
I know what you mean about muddy water and waste containers having to be put inside the caravan. I'm fortunate that my waste water container fits into the front locker when emptied for travelling and after a quick wipe down I put my aquaroll into a storage bag These are available from most caravan accessory shops or online.
A reversing camera on the caravan is relatively easy to fit, it would be best to continue to use extension mirrors to avoid falling foul of towing laws even though you should have a better rear view from a well postioned camera.
