Definitely Hurn Lane - very easy to find - just before you turn onto the main coastal road with all the commercial static sites. You have the benefit of a quieter site with the usual Caravan Club facilities together with the benefit of being able to visit the "louder area" when it suits you. We usually holiday in France in the main periods i.e. Easter Whitsun & August then go to Hurn Lane October half term. Nice to experience the fun fare, walk along the beach at Breen Sands and the front at Burnham. Personally would not stay anywhere else in that area.

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for your reply, we too holiday in france for our main summer trip but are looking for somewhere to go for a week at end of may for Half term. Think we may go for Hurn Lane, its sounds good to me, piece and quiet but with all the bells and whistles near by if we want them. Do you know if the site has a play area, and is it worth taking the bikes for a few cycling trips.

Cheers,

Darren

I think Unity is a good commercial site with all the amenities particularly for families, swimming pool is a minus as you still have to pay and it is not that good.

Rallies are run at this site and if you can get on one of those they are a lot cheaper with exactly the same amenities and the opportunity to leave slightly later on departure day.

Our local centre is doing a rally here in a couple of months, a weekend for less than
