How do I add a photograph to a post?

Hello everyone,
I've posted a query on the forum and would like to add a photograph or two for information. How do I post a photograph?

Hi there – thanks for posting!

The simple answer is that you upload your photo(s) to an external/third-party image hosting site, then copy and paste the image URL into your post on this forum. However, we were using Photobucket for this and that company's terms and conditions have changed. Once we have another workaround, Parksy's handy guide to posting photos can be updated and republished.

Link a picture via Flickr just make sure it's a public image.

You can use any sharing site you like but, as one user posted, you just need to ensure that any image you share you have the copyright to distribute.

Chappies I cant take the credit, I nicked it from Gafferbill, who in turn nicked it from Icefever!!! hmy:

Any way I'm confused you both say you have signed up?
I enter the web address up pops the main page and I just load photo on from laptop, no account , no signing up, nothing, I dont even have to resize, then copy direct link and enter on here.
the first box states "Do Not Resize My Photo"
Oh well at least it works.

Unfortunately not. But strangely as I type this reply EH52ARH image shows below the text box, but not when I read the thread :huh: :huh:

I've received the blackmail message from photo bucket so my eons of images all over fora will doubtless disappear. Very helpful business model to NOT follow. Petulant Richard Head there, evidently

This is strange, is there any thing in place of the photo by way of wording? can you click on it and see if anything happens? sorry if this doesnt work but there must be more savvy folk on here to help, perhaps there is a setting that needs a tick on your computer. May be worth emailing Parksy or Damien and see if they can help.
