How do I fund out weights

Hi how can I find out the weight (MTPLW) weight of a 1999 Abi Dales 600ct with out having to travel and view the van, the seller doesn't seem sure even though I've told him where to check, is there a website for such information?

Just an observation,

If a Caravan Dealer is unsure what to look for or is unwilling, then I would have doubts about the authenticity of the either the caravan or the dealer.

Hi Mike,

I have been unable to find any data for the ABI Dales 600CT, the nearest thing I can find is the ABI Manhattan 600CT which has a max loaded weight of 1600KG. There is 4 and 6 berth models but the weights are the same. You will need a towcar with quite a bit of power and weight of 1900KG if you want to go with the recommended 85%.

Hi Thanks for your comments, we went to view the caravan yesterday and well we didn't get as far as both feet into it, when we opened the door we were greeted by a van we wouldn't be seen dead in, typical, we did have a nice bacon sandwich at the dealers though so it wasn't a complete waste
