Easiest and quickest solution I have come up with is once clothes are in place stuff a towel or two between the top of the rail and the shelf, cupboard top above, use this all the time and never have the problem

Also on arrival simmply take towel out and everything ready to use without having to undo elastics or swap hangers around

Never stayed in the wardrobe whilst travelling but found out it was the coat hangers jumping around off the railm so making the clothes move until they come off.My remedy solved it by changing the hangers to the ones with wire hooks then got some thin ply shaped it simular to a hour glass, but oval shape would do ( I like doing things the hard way), then at the top of the ply etc drill hole diameter of hanging rail followed by drilling hole diameter of coathanger wire at bottom of material , mine are about 75mm long , then by slipping these pieces onto the rail (I cut 20 to make sure)then insert coathanger onto bottom of material used and thats it .Since doing this have never had anything come off .Just another idea to think about.

Measure the clothes rail then cut a length of 1 1/2"x1/2" batten 1" shorter than the rail. Fix one of these type of clips

at the end of the batten making sure the clip is a tight fit over the clothes rail. Put clothes on rail then clip batten onto rail to stop the hangers jumping.

Hope that makes sense :O)

had the same problem

Easy fix. Hook the hangers from the rear not the front. This stopped ours from falling as breaking is far more powerful than acceleration

wrap a bit of breathable grond sheet round the rail and secure it with tape stops our falling off

Every year this question comes up in allthe magazines and it always amazes me, I have been caravaning for the last 20 years, and only once has anything come off the wardrobe hanging rail and that is because I was really "clogging it" from south to north Wales through the valleys which you may know is very twisty, up hill and down dale, so it no wonder that things came off the rail, my solution is to SLOW DOWN, especially over speed humps on sites. But that is another subject, wot????
