Hi there
Very new to motorhoming, being avid bikers for the last 30 odd years, all our overseas trips have been 'Road Trips' ie hire bikes, cars or take our own bikes into Europe and never stay more than 2 nights in one place.
We bit the bullet, so to speak and purchased our Eldiss 155 Autoquest at the end of October last year as we would like to take our dogs with us on our travels, pet passports sorted ;)
We have spent a week away so far just getting used to 'Bodie' as we call our motorhome.
Living in Scotland we have all the West Coast to visit and like the idea of 'wild camping' but are also looking at travelling in Europe at a more sedate pace.
Any tips or hints welcome and hope to see some of you out and about.
Looking forward to getting away very soon.

Welcome to the Forum Mick!
Your experience of only spending a night or two in one place suggests that motorhoming will suit you down to the ground.
I often get asked questions like "Isn't it a pain packing everything away every tiime you go out?" or "Why would you spend your holiday in a car park?" - because people don't understand that motorhomes are for TOURING. We visit places, and do things, during the day, THEN find somewhere to spend the night before going off to do other things the next day. People who want to spend their holiday in one place often end up changing to a caravan & car, which does that job better.
