I have an Elddis Advante 2003 which I believe is fitted with Reich mixer taps. My problem is the spout keeps coming out when you turn the tap on.

As stated the mixer taps which I believe are Reich type with a push in spout, held in by an O ring, keep coming out when turned on. I cannot find anyone that sells the O rings, however I feel that this is not a very good design and would like to know if anyone has found a more permanent solution other than replacing them. Many thanks Steve

Welcome to the forum Triumphman.

Perhaps you could dry everything and apply mastic adhesive. Which would hold it in permanently.

I would guess from your photos that Reich Pelikan Keramik Mixer Tap 33mm - Caravan Stuff 4 U is your tap with the swivel spout end and microswitch operation.
However I would assume that you could purchase o-rings in the correct size either in an old style ironmongers, plumbers merchant or online. I think they are measured in either metric or imperial sizes by the inside diameter. When replacing ensure that the spout and the seating area are clean (perhaps wipe out with vinegar and rinse) then when dry twist into place with washing up liquid or plumbers silicone grease. Worth a go to maintain the swivel facility that is a feature of this tap and as you see the replacement taps are not cheap!

Lasting 19 odd years, if indeed it was the original kit, does rather indicate the design was quite good, well IMO it does.

If mine and seeking to repair, I would "bond" the spout back if the installation did not require it to articulate; bonding with a decent PU based product where moisture aids rather than hinders the "setting" process.

Or simply replace it, and look for about another couple of decades use.
