Ignition problems

We have the 3002 Carver fire which has decided to keep sparking, the gas valve is complete in the off position and taking the battery box out cannot see where it is faulty. And ideas Guys?.

My owners book said models Carver 2000A plus Fanmaster where as the fire is Truma Ultraheat . I always thought these were mainly the 30002 model . The year of manufacture is 2000.

Hello Robert I can understand the confusion. but the by the year 2000 when you caravan was made, Carver had no relationship with Truma, they were entirely separate products. and apart from the hot air ducting nothing was interchangeable.

So yo will either have a Carver 2000 or a Truma not a a mixture.

If you have a Carver with an auto ignitor then this company offers a repair service on them

the fire is Truma Ultraheat .

The Ultraheat is the electric heater part of the fire, the gas fire will be a 3002 if it is Truma.
Two entirely different items which can be operated alone or together.
