Hi
We went to the Isle of Wight last year and stayed at the Orchards site and it was very good. The site had an indoor and outdoor swimming pool as well as an on site takeaway which served good food at a reasonable price. You get good views across the countryside and all in all it was a very good site.

I can endorse what Francis is saying. Orchards site probably one of the best on the island for children, have a great time and I hope the weather is kind

We have used the Orchards and can confirm the good reports, they also did a cheap deal on the ferry although not sure if they still do this. It is affiliated to the CC but you do not have to be a member to stay there.

Red Funnel are still doing the offer that includes the 'Orchards' site but it is limited to 5days, see http://www.redfunnel.co.uk/places-to-stay/camping . I too have stayed on this site and can also recommend it.
You do not need to be a CC member for this offer.

Well me and my wife have booked on a caravan site, really looking forward to going. We are heading there at the end of June and staying for 10 days!

Hi all,
Have booked for the Orchards later this year. Extra days seem to be pro rata to the 5 day package. Red funnel was much cheaper than Whitelink for my outfit. I found that letting the Orchards do the booking was more cost effective but it will depend on outfit and time of travel.
Have a good holiday

Me and my wife and two labs are going at the end of June to sandown for 10 nights, really looking forward to it, should be reasonable weather then. On the side of the ferry we will be using whitelink as they seem to be cheaper for us, we will be staying at a site near Southampton for a night before we head on the ferry the next day to the isle of white.
We will be driving from scarbourgh to the first site, it's going to be a trec but worth it!
