I have been reading the latest offering from PC and came across the Caravan Q & A, and in particular the advice not to put a solar panel on the roof of a caravan that has an aluminium roof as the roof can flex and split or even split the sealant and potentially lose the panel.
I am just wondering if this has actually happened to anyone? I bought 2 80w panels back in the winter and have been waiting to get some good weather to fit them but after reading this in the mag i am now worried about fitting them.
I believe the roof where i am going to fit these panels (Either side of the skylight in the bedroom at the back) is quite solid.
