I've been reading the Forum for some months now and found that I could have contributed to some of the topics, so the only way to do it is join up.
We have our 25 year CC badge and spend 10 -12 weeks / 3,000 - 5,000 miles a year touring around the extremities of the UK and europe as far as Croatia, Prague and Spain, etc. Wherever possible we use CL's unless we have the grandson when we use Beechwood Grange CC site for the playing field. Our van is a dealers special of a Swift/Abbey Oxford 2+2 berth, 5.2 mt. which we've had from new in 2000 and has covered 38,000 miles. It's had a few repairs, modifications and updates due to wear and tear and we intend to keep it as long as possible. The van is stripped of everything that we don't use, e.g. the 4th folding bunk, and carries a few more items for long journeys including sat dish for news and weather when in foreign parts. We tow with an Xtrail which we've had from new in 2004. I maintain the car myself and to date it has covered 96,000 miles, I think it's just about run in. Looking forward to joining in.
