KIA Vehicle Warranty

Just got my 08 plate Sportage XS back from garage after had new clutch and flywheel replaced under Kia,s 7year warranty. it has only done 20,450 mls .The problem was a very high pedal but the clutch was NOT slipping so was very impressed with the service.

I think that the 7 year warranty is great, and given Kia's reliabilty the company can be confident that it will not cost them money, in fact it could be a major selling plus. The existing Sorento came in the top 5 under warranty direct's 4wd reliabilty index, whereas VW, Audi, BMW and Volvo came in the lowest group. The new Sorento will have a 7 years warranty up to 100k miles or unlimited for 3 years. Even the old Sorento hada 10 years 100k miles in the US, so you will have cars sold in 2002 still under warranty when the new replacement is out in 2010.

Clive Kia have just announced every car in the Kia range will now have the 7 year warranty can,t be bad great vehicles for the money .when my Sportage was in for the clutch had a small Rio as run about 1.5 Diesel was realy surprised it was very nippy , and not that bad in the snow passed a few bigger cars that were stuck .good on fuel also .waiting for the new Sorento to come out in 1st february. then get a demonstration

run in it .reported to get 50+ mpg good for a 2.2 186hp ?? i think plus will tow up to 3.5 ton
