hello all, does anyone tow with a Ford Kuga? We have just had to change our Mondeo....big engine problems and very expensive quotes....and have got a 2lt 140bhp Kuga Titanium, we're hoping it will tow as well as the Mondeo did, and wondered what anyone else thought?

Just seen your posts and the Kuga is not that bad
We had the Kuga 136bhp 2WD 2litre diesel titanium for 2 years and it towed the Bailey Senator and Swift Challenger 570 like a dream
Within a week of collecting it we towed the Bailey to France and after 4 Nissan X Trails that we liked the Kuga was no disappointment
Although we were at almost 100% the outfit was extremely stable and power was more than adequate
We now have the 163bhp AWD again Titanium 2 litre diesel and that is also superb the main reason for going AWD was to get more weight
It was an advantage last week when we visited my hippy daughter at a"Festival" at the bottom of a muddy field
We were able to leave !
I hope that you enjoy your Kuga as much as we enjoy ours

many thanks for taking the time to reply, it's good to know some positive feedback about the car and even though it's not classed as a 'real' 4x4 to some, it will hopefully be good for what we want it for, the best of both worlds hopefully!

I successfullly tow with 163bhp AWD Kuga and absolutely love its handling and pulling power when towing. Also return a better MPG whilst towing. A very capable vehicle.
