We stayed there a couple of years ago but it was the last wek in August and the site was very quiet. There were only a handfull of outfits on site. The take-away was only open for a short time and all the activities had stopped. The man made lake would have been nice to try but unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there!
The site is very nice and the pitch sizes vary, there were some very large pitches but these were further away from the toilet block.
The office sold bread etc. and there was a small shop in the local village that sold most things we needed.
The site was well kept and the owner spoke good English and was friendly. There was another bloke who did most of the other jobs on site and also ran the take-away, he wore a white lab coat most of the time - which we founs very ammusing.
The area around the site is quite flat and not very interesting but Reims and Verdun are worth visiting.
I think that we would have enjoyed the site more if we had not gone out of season.
