Although we have the Issy Magnum porch, I am looking around for a very lightweight throw up in a minute sort of thing thats sort of cheap and cheerful but still decent enough quality to use. Any thoughts or experiences.

The Magnum like a full awning is breat for longer stays, but I am always watching the weather so we can put it away dry. What I am looking for is something light enough to pack wet and hang over the clothes rotatry at home to dry.

Thingy,
I‘ve wasted money on loads of cheepos. All rubbish! Alone and taking it easy I can erect the Izzy Magnum in 30 mins including pegs.
The Magnum without its doors is light and easy to thread through. All awnings light or heavy will still require pegging which imo is where the time is taken.

We have a Kampa 220 air awning that we mainly use in the winter and cost us £160. Easy to erect as lightweight and can be hung over the clothes line to dry. Also enough room for 2 chairs, a table and Christmas tree as per my Avatar.

Its not about the effort of putting one up. Its that i dont want to risk putting the issy away wet. Something for a weekend or so that it wont matter if its abused but good enough to stand in bad weather.

Ours is a Vango Rapide 250. Basically the same as Hutch’s. I am not sure about the throws up in a few minutes though; if you don’t get it square, then you get tension across the door and can’t zip it up.
