Hi all has anybody been to looe c.c site lately?, if so could you please tell me whether it has had a refurb lately.

We are booked to go to this site for two weeks in July.

We were there at easter - and a bit breezy it was too - no it hasn't had its shower blocks refurbished yet when we were there but then they are still better than some we have been to, but then CC sites usually are good for facilities.

Surprised to hear it hasn't had a refurb. We were down there last summer and were told it was having a 'makeover' ready for this year. It's ok, - mostly grass pitches (which is a bit of a nightmare after heavy rain when it turns to mud). Still, love the site and are off down to it again this year!

Just got back,

Refurb was not done ( council problem) which is a shame because we wanted to go last october were told it was closed then found out it stayed open for the rest of the year. Its a pretty nice site. Wardens seem to be a bit hit and miss and only enforce the rules they want to (see my other post). But it is nice quite and if you can get a hard standing , a good size pitch. The grass pithes are very close back to back and slope. So make sure you get there for twelve sharp.
