Hello, I was recommended to come here as my friend tells me that you're all wonderful people who know all that there is to know about caravanning.

With that build-up, let me continue...

I've been caravanning for a few years and I enjoy the lifestyle. Quite happy to take my van around the country and use it as a base when I'm contracting out of my home area. It's just me and the two dogs, we keep ourselves to ourselves, and enjoy the peace and quiet.

I will be working just outside Boston, Lincs for several months, starting in October. I will be there for at least 3 months, possibly 6, but certainly no more than 9. All I need is a pitch (preferably hard or gravel so that I don't have to keep moving), a hook-up and a sanitation point. I'll be back home each weekend (although I will want to leave the van there). Don't care about on-site entertainment or suchlike, although a pub within staggering distance is always nice. Not currently a CC member, but happy to sign up.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We can recommend http://www.millfarmleisure.co.uk/ which us in Wrangle near Boston. We spent three nights there earlier in the year, only five pitches which are all seperated by hedges. There is a fishing lake also.

hi just an add on we have used the above site several times, it is affiliated to the caravan and camping club.
while non members are welcome I think there is a maximum of 28 days you can stay :woohoo: at least that is what the owner told us when we asked if it was possible to get a seasonal pitch, (there is one on pitch 2) but I think it is his!!!!
BTW if you do find one, that is less than £400 a month let us know then we can be neighbours,
