We only stopped for 2 nights as we were visiting family in Plymouth . Nice site and it had a pool that was full of kids. Outside Looe up hill set amongst field and open country side.
If you walk the dogs on costal paths there are some steep drops and cliffs around the area, TAKE NOTE!
The CC 360 veiw is shows the site pretty well and you can get a clear zoom in view on Google Earth if you put in the post code PL13 1PB

Looe can be rather manic in Summer and you leave the car and walk in to crowded streets. Seaton, Downderry,Portwrinkle, Crafthole etc are great little places to explore and you should enjoy the pubs if you are into that.
If the sumer Ferr from Cawsand is running to Plymouthit a great way to approach the city past the Plynouth Breakwater that you realise is huge when you are are up close.
A wander around the Plymouth Barbican and the Mayflower steps and a snack from Cap'n Jaspers and a Cuppa should make a good day.
Try and take a look at Robert Lenkiewicz ( Probaly Britains Greatest Artist or recent times) wall in the Barbican Area. Sadly its in poor repair due to a stupid city council. But still worth a look last time I saw it.
Also a visit to http://www.mountedgcumbe.gov.uk/ is a good one.
