Hi

I'm looking for a clean and freindly well run caravan park near St Ives, which has a pool and is not over crowded in July can any one please recommend any where as there are that many I think it would be easier to here first hand off people who have had good experiences

Thanks

Whilst We prefer CC sites we regularly go to Polmanter just above St.Ives.

It's a touch of luxury but can be busy during the school holidays.

Cheers

We stayed at Little Trevarrack in early May 2006 and the site appeared to have recently come under new ownership. The pool hadn't been done when we stayed but thesite looks as though it's well run.

Years ago there was a clubhouse etc here and that has gone and a new entrance complete with electric barrier had been opened. The site operates a no noise policy at night and is kept clean and well maintained.

At a place like St Ives there are always going to be crowds during the main holiday season and we visited at a quieter time but from what we saw I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to a family with young children.

There was adequate space between pitches and during high season a bus runs from this site into St Ives.

The site owners live on site and there is a website to learn a little bit more about it or book a pitch on http://www.littletrevarrack.co.uk/

The website pick a pitch feature will give an idea of the space between pitches etc
