1200 grade wet and dry with lots of water, carefully with minimal pressure, followed by a good wax polish

Steve, before you use wet and dry which is quite aggressive and if not done properly you can make it worse. However, in any ships chandlers you can buy a bottle just like car polish for use on fibre glass on yachts etc.You will find it on line if you do a google search I would try it first.

Many years ago I attended a practical course at Brentford Strand Glass. After the casting was removed from the mould, the parting agent was cleaned off and the gel-coat polished with a thick paste compound applied on a damp cloth. The compound was of the same colour as T-cut, which would probably do the same job.

Have used Farecla paste G3 in the past with very good results, also when I had a tree branch put a dirty great scratch down the side.
