A bit bored so totted up the mileage that has been done with our caravan for this year and it is 1122 miles. In normal times this would have easily exceeded 3000 miles as we travelled to France or Spain each year. The caravan has been in storage since September except for a 14 mile trip for its annual service. I would guess that many would have a similar mileage on their caravans for this year.

We've done 41 nights this year and did 14 last year. So 55 nights in 2 years. The cost of owning the caravan and a tow car has been madness when you work it out per night. I'm not sure of the car mileage but as the service has to be done annually, the mileage is always low anyway. We used to average 150 nights a year.

One trip in May to North York Moors 14 nights and 540 miles. Global warming had clearly bypassed Yorkshire. Second final trip to Forest of Dean 3 nights and 120 miles. Then decided to sell the caravan and it’s kit.

Don't keep tabs with miles but we've had 132 nights away in our Buccaneer this year- from Dec to Dec-and it has been perfect. Absolutely love it!
I get the mileage from the Phantom tracker fitted into our Buccaneer. Don't you have a tracker?

We still have the pretty useless Tracker retrieve-they wanted pennies to continue for the next 4 years-then the battery will be done for and we'll move to Phantom! Wished I'd done it after the first year but was a bit broke! Am being lazy though-wouldn't be difficult to work it out! Roughly 1000 miles I reckon!

I do not log the mileage but at a rough guess about 1,600 this year which is down on previous years where we would normally clear 2,000.

About 1100 miles this year, I think that is about normal for us.
About 40 nights away, plus several weekends camped out on the drive in covid lockdown when we needed a change of scenery :)

Hopefully Beachball👍

Problem at the moment is I only get 20 days + the 8 bank holidays.

We don't go away at bank holidays due to traffic.(We live near the M4/M5 interchange at Almondsbury which does get slightly busy at bank holidays),plus leaving on the Friday after work we would hit traffic which ever way we travelled.

At the moment,we usually manage 1x 2 week break,1x 1 week break then leave 5 days a year for things like mot the cars, dentist, hospital appointments etc...

I was due to retire at 65(1 year 10 months away)but the government very kindly increased it by 1 year.🤬

Obviously women have been hit even harder.☹
