Hi

Does anyone have experience of the new Milenco aero mirror for towing. They have launched a larger mirror and I am trying to decide which one to buy, the original smaller one or the new larger one.

Any feedback would be appreciated

I have just swapped to the bigger ones, they are like truck mirrors and are really good,i felt with the smaller type not so much vision because of the teardrop shape.

I used the grand aeros for the first time on saturday and found them to be fine. A good field of view with only as much vibration as the casing of the car mirror will allow (depending on how good your car mirrors are in terms of sturdiness).

The convex format takes a few minutes to adjust to but once you are accustomed this is not a problem.

I can't speak for the smaller aero mirrors as I've never had them before.

Bought the Grand Aero (biguns)at the NEC show in Feb. Used them 3 times since & think they're brilliant, most stable mirrors I've ever used when towing. Good wide vision, well worth the investment. If you decide to get some you'll not be dissappointed.

Hi Giovanni,

Further to Mikeys post, I have just bought a set of the Grand Aero mirrors online from the Caravan Shop. In addition to the 2 x Flat glass or 2 x convex glass, you can also order 1 flat and 1 convex glass.

Cheers Ron

(PS their service is excellent!)

I agree with all that has been posted, used mine for the first time this week they are great with one exception, being larger they create a larger blind spot, this was noticeable when at roundabouts, no real problem but you do need to be aware.
