Hi
A while ago I got a free to collect scrap lunar clubman 400/2

When we got it it turned out It was in good solid shape with no structural issues damp or leaks
When we looked inside it all that was missing was the oven, toilet, water heater, electrical consumer unit.

We have since acquired and fitted an oven and toilet as well as done various other little bits and pieces but we still need to find a consumer unit and water heater for it.
We have been looking for ages but have not been able to find a unit to plug into the existing cables so I was wondering if you might be able to tell me what model consumer unit and would have gone with the caravan when it was first made

I have attached pictur of what cable are there
The model is a lunar clubman 400/2
it is either a 1993 or 2006
The Serial Number is
5gl5c06
Lupid34546Q
Thanks in advance

Cheers

Ed

Theyhave an excellent reputation for repairing caravans and if we had not been succusful with our claim, we woudl have approached them.

Do you know the year as the unit fitted may depend on this as the clubman models ran for many years and there will be several m0dels used over that time..

If the unit is an off-the-shelf one, just go to electrical suppliers. But if a bespoke unit it is more difficult. The Clubman went through many iterations, and. You don't give the year, but this is a diagram of the one in my 2015 van. It contained much more than just the consumer unit.

This is paired with the Sargent control unit. I suspect that the consumer unit part might be an off-the-shelf one from a different manufacturer.

A bit more info on your van would be useful.

Just a note, If you are buying for a touring caravan you have to make sure the consumer unit is designed for a caravan, Units for touring caravans have to accommodate Double Pole (DP) Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB). They must be DP to disconnect both Live & Neutral conductors to protect in case the mains supply at a caravan site is reversed polarity. The Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCD or RCD) are automatically DP.

Normal domestic MCB's are usually single pole and would only disconnect the Live conductor.

If you are in any doubt about how to wire mains systems in your own caravan please call a professional.
