What's the most incredulous thing you have seen a fellow caravanner do? And/or what's the most ignorant thing you've heard or seen a person do on a site?
Mine, surprisingly relates to dogs.
1. GSD long haired. The owners stripped its coat on their pitch and my god, I have never seen so much dog hair in my life. It was a beautiful sunny day and they just left this mound of fur in situ.
2. Sandringham CCC. Two vans arrive, occupants have two labs, tie them both to a tree just where our hook up cable is so we had to move it. Then they just ignored the fact that their dogs were left to bark, bark, bark, occasionally, a child would run out of the awning and scream 'shut up'. The dogs were tied out all the time (apart from when the occupants went to bed) and started barking at 7 am and we only had peace if they went out with the owners in the car. After three days, they were asked to leave. Astonishingly, I heard one of the owners of said dogs scream at her partner 'did you tell them it wasn't OUR DOGS barking'. Priceless.
