Has anyone had an onboard motor mover fitted to an Eriba Caravan. As there is no conventional chassis on the Eriba(2001)are there ways of getting round this. Albert D
from Albert DAlbert,
The Reich Comfort is the recommended mover for an Eriba - Reich make dedicated brackets for the custom AL-KO chassis used on an Eriba.
Using these mounts, the motors actually fit much closer to the caravan floor than on a traditional AL-KO chassis. So ground clearance, etc., is very, very good.
As far as I know, no other company makes the necessary brackets.
And there's no real need to upgrade the battery above the standard 65AH fitment. It's perfectly adequate to manoeuvre the Eriba...
And you may want to look at the two UK Eriba web-sites - www.eriba-amiga.co.uk and www.eribaforum.co.uk
