I would be grateful for a little knowledge before investigating.
The offside mover came into contact with the corner of a low wall while negotiating a left hand bend out of a CL site. I was still to use the mover while touring in October bur feel I need to correct a small malfunction ready for this season.
When engaging the mover before the "hit" there was spring tension as the rollers moved against the tyre now there isn't. But the rollers move the tyres but perhaps not as positively as before. Looking at the mover, the engagement arm onto which the wrench is placed is out of line. By unbolting, is it possible to replace the arm correctly and will this then allow the mechanism to snap into action when the wrench is used?
I would be pleased for any advice.
