In a rival mag they feature 'the new vogue' and call it the upmarket replacement for the Aventura.Its not clear,do they mean they have dropped the Aventura and downrated the Vogue,if so what has replaced the Vogue.

The new Vogue seems basic without even a seperate shower cubicle,they have dropped the ABS sides (which personally I like)have on some models dropped the wet locker.On two models shown in the article and adverts one has the loo hatch on the awning side and the other has the extending radio ariel also on the awning side,so I presume you cut a hole in the canvas to push it through!All in all if this is actually the new Vogue the one I have now will be the last.

It makes you wonder how much thought actually goes into these so called advanced new models. I really don't see the point of this when the Aventura was changed last Autumn. All manufacters should follow what Bailey have done only changing a model every three years or so. As far as I was aware the Vogue is a direct replacment for the Aventura and Swift are still going to manufacter the GTS Vogue

I could not agree more,change for change sake but invariably not for the better.That is what I was wondering are they going to have both Vogue and GTS Vogue if so I cnat see the point,but if that is the case it certainly is not made clear.I have tried the website quoted of www.newvogue.co.uk but end up with blank screen and Swifts site is much the same.

It states at the end of the review of the Vogue in this months PC magazine that the updated GTS Vogue and Spectrum will be launched September 1st in line with the rest of the Swift group products. I am convinced that manufacturers think a few cosmetic changes will make us all run to change our existing van, when in reality all it does is create confusion to what is really available.

Snobbish maybe but I feel that using Vogue and GTS Vogue at the same time devalues the GTS,no doubt some will say that it is the same with cars ie Mondeo- LX,Zetec,Ghia,GhiaX etc.
