Whatever are Coachman thinking of with the new front lockers? If I have seen it correctly on TV there are 2 lockers , the nearside one for 2 gas bottles and the offside one is..............empty, all so that you have more space inside for your front chest and flap. Those of us who have longer items in the front locker such as pipes and levelling ramps will find it difficult to carry in a 2018 VIP and no idea what the noseweight and stability will be like.

It looks much nicer than the last one. Our GT65 has two front lockers and they swallow a lot. I suppose we do have our gas at the side though. Not heard any complaints on how a Vanmaster tows with a similar layout to the new VIP.

I think you need to see them in real life to see if the idea works so will reserve judgement on these. It does give a longer lounge so people may have to look at their own priorities.

We think the new front looks aggressive and what have they done to the front drawer unit. Looked as though it is only big enough for a coffee cup whereas most couples, I think, use it normally for meals and so don't have to get the big table out.

The same unknowns apply to any new caravan you take on, so there's no real difference

I suppose if you are worried about the nose weight and the dealer has one in stock they will check it for you, but I cannot see the design will increase this if you still carry the same things in there. As for stability it should make no difference.
